Our boathouse is located on-site at the Cabrillo Youth Center in San Pedro, California. Our facility is located between the Cabrillo Way Marina and Cabrillo Beach, just East of Fort MacArthur.
As the facility is primarily used for youth watersports activity, special considerations are made to ensure the safety of the youth on site. See Become a Member! for more information on our club rules.
Directions
- Outside San Pedro, take 110 South to Gaffey (the end of the 110)
- Use left two lanes to turn Left on Gaffey
- Use left two lanes to turn Left on Gaffey
- Take Gaffey to 22nd Street
- Turn Left on 22nd Street
- Turn Left on 22nd Street
- Take 22nd Street to Via Cabrillo Marina
- Turn Right on Via Cabrillo Marina
- Turn Right on Via Cabrillo Marina
- Take Via Cabrillo Marina all the way down. Once you pass Shoshonean Road on the right, there will be a parking lot on the right. Park here. Entrance is at the far end of the lot. There is an L.A. Harbor Dragonboat Sign on the fence along the parking lot near the gate entrance.
- To navigate to our boathouse, follow club members from the parking lot through the gate around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. We’re all friendly and will show you the way!
TIP! If you are trying out dragonboat for the first time with us, make sure you sign the waiver ahead of time! Internet connection is not always reliable at the boathouse, so it is a good idea to fill this out before you head out. Also, please let us know you are coming.
